Intermediate Sailing

The intermediate class continues on from the advanced beginner level, targeting sailors with solid experience in various sailing conditions. This course enhances skills from the prior levels and introduces even more advanced, situation-specific techniques. It aims to develop sailors capable of independently skippering a sailboat. Students sail diverse boats, including 8’ prams, 16’ Bullseyes, and 14’ lasers, gaining experience in solo sailing and handling different boat types. Ideal for students looking to advance their basic sailing knowledge and gain confidence in solo sailing. Prerequisite: Instructor recommendation.

Target Experience

This class is intended for slightly older students who have a understanding of basic sailing as covered in the earlier BCB curriculum, and want to hone their skills with more advanced techniques and maneuvers.
