Summer Programs
Summer Sailing School
A progressive sailing program where students build confidence, develop real on-water skills, and advance from first-time sailors to confident independent sailors and racers.
Ocean exploration
Fun, adventure-based programs that introduce young sailors to the ocean through exploration, teamwork, and hands-on experiences on Buzzards Bay.
Adult and Private Lessons
It is never too late to learn! Personalized sailing instruction for individuals, families, or small groups looking to learn sailing skills or improve confidence on the water at their own pace.
This is my kids' 2nd year involved, and they are just so excited and come home with great new knowledge. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This is a great opportunity for the kids to learn something about Cape Life!
Stella Sicina
I was kayaking in Monument Beach recently and a couple of the instructors from Bourne Community Boating helped me out of a pretty dangerous situation. For that alone, I'd give them five stars! But I also had the chance to watch these instructors leading a group of kids and helping them learn safe, and fun swimming skills! Also, connecting with the environment around them!

Who are we?
The Bourne Community Boating program, founded in 2006, is a community-based program for all, focusing on many aspects of boating and marine education. The three pillars of BCB are the summer youth sailing school, the adult & family sailing lessons, and marine science education. We hope you’ll join the BCB community by taking part in these activities and/or joining our volunteer corps to improve and strengthen BCB’s mission.
