Thanks to the Kingman Yacht Club, we will be sailing on Red Brook harbor on Bourne Community Boating’s fleet of Laser single-handed sailboats. All COVID19 safety protocols will be followed.

We will sail in Laser dinghies. These are fun and challenging boats designed for single-handed sailing and racing. There will be a swim test during the first week of practice. We will do capsize drills which may include some swimming. A wet suit with wind breaker or a dry suit is recommended for warmth and comfort.
Sailors must wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket and closed toe water shoes or boots and must bring and wear a CDC recommend face covering (mask). Mask must be worn while ashore, in support boats or on the dock. Masks are not required while sailing. Disposable masks will be available if a sailor’s mask is damaged or destroyed.
