Parent/Child Class: Thursdays, 4:45-6:45PM starting July 12, tuition $80 per pair.  This is a once a week sailing class to give parents a chance to sail and learn with their child.  It is open to people with no or some sailing experience.  Depending on conditions each class will consist of between 1-2 hours of on land and on water training learning the basics of water safety, sail boat parts and terms, simple sail evolutions and point of sail.  We will utilize the Doughdish (Herreshoff 12) and Bulls Eye, both full keelboats designed to teach people to sail on Buzzards Bay.  Each boat will have one experienced sailor/ instructor and up to 3 parent/ child pairs. In understanding of the difficulty of scheduling children and summer, the class will be for any 4 classes over 6 Thursdays from July 12th– August 16th.  Snacks to tide kids over for dinner are welcome.
